WE Are an inclusive and affirming Catholic faith community of the Reformed Catholic Church
International of New England
.

We welcome and encourage the inclusion of women into the priesthood, the marriage of
priests and marriage/Holy Unions of all loving couples, heterosexual and homosexual one of
God's gifts.

We are a faith community of healing for all those who have been hurt by churches actions of
discrimination and selectivity but still yearn for Catholic spirituality and liturgy

We endorse the allowing divorced persons to remarry in the church as allowed in the early
church and for remarried persons to receive the Eucharist.

We view the Pope as the Bishop of Rome, first among equals with all the Patriarchs.
  We are
not under the authority of the Vatican but a reformed, progressive, inclusive, affirming Catholic
Community who consider ourselves as Catholics in exile.
Our orders are considered valid by
the church of Rome because of our direct succession from the apostles through the Duarte
Costa Line but because we disagree with Papal infallibility and the aforementioned woman
and married priests Rome considers us illicit.

We live our vows as partnered/married or single persons, male and female, under the rule of
life established by St. Francis.
The vow of Chastity is not a requirement but is encouraged for
single persons.

We identify strongly with Jesus’ call to Saint Francis to “go, rebuild My Church”. We
understand this as a call to affirm and proclaim the Divine Mercy and
Infinite Love of God for all
people regardless of their race, nationality, sexual orientation or marital situation.

Members of the Order serve as Lay Apostles, vowed Brothers, Sisters,Deacons and Priests.

Franciscans of the Divine Mercy and Love of God dedicate themselves to live out the call to St.
Francis “go rebuild My Church” as a call to each one of us to encourage unity within the
Mystical Body of Christ, The Church, and to gather all who accept Christ as their redeemer and
Savior together as is their rite by their Baptism.
